Challenge of the day!

Hiya!
Amber here and we're excited you're taking on our logo redesign. Attached below is the current logo for Twitchy Rabbit. The problem is that it's too detailed and doesn't work great as our logo, especially at small sizes, and this is something we want to improve on.
Twitchy Rabbit is an email marketing platform similar to MailChimp and Twitchy the Rabbit is our mascot. We'd like him to be redesigned into a more simple, iconic form that we can use across our products.
We are willing to accept a solid color logo or something with multiple colors, as long as it works great a small size around 50x50 pixels for icons.
Thanks so much,
Amber Dalton
Twitchy Rabbit

I changed the style quite much from the original rabbit (I don't know if I'm allowed to upload the images), this because it relied a lot on lines, shadows and little details, that were precisely the things I had to get rid of, but the expression on its face was preserved.
On further detail:

  • Removed the body of the rabbit, as well as whiskers, the dark part of the ears, shadows and detail lines.
  • The color of the fur is darker to make more contrast so is visible when redimensioned to 50 x 50 pixels.
  • The eyes were made an even more prominent part of the composition.
  • Added weight and color to eye dots and nose, as they were basically dots and thin lines.
  • The folded ear was made longer to avoid tension due the space between it and the eye.
  • Placed nose and teeth upper, so they didn't go off the rabbit's face.

Adding the name wasn't neccesary, I made it for fun.
